Lobuche Peak Climbing is another most popular climbing peak in the Everest Region. Following the classic trails of Everest Base Camp, you begin your journey to conquer Lobuche Peak that stands at 6119m. Lobuche (also called Lobuje) is a majestic mountain of the Khumbu Himalaya range. It lies within the Lobuche settlement and near the Khumbu Glacier. There are two major peaks of Lobuche as Lobuche East and Lobuche West.
Out of these two, the East peak is popular amongst climbers. The first ascent to Lobuche East was recorded to be made by Laurence Nielson and Sherpa Ang Gyalzen around 1984.
To conquer this feat, you need to physically fit and have proper altitude training. It’s because the route is challenging and gets technical at many points. You will follow the route of Everest Base Camp. On the way, you will be exploring classic settlements like Namche, Phakding, Tengboche, Dingboche, Lobuche, and Pheriche. You will go to Everest Base Camp and Kala Patthar before climbing.
