These terms apply when you browse our website, contact us, or book a trip with Himalayan Hike. By making a booking, you agree to the terms below.
This website does not offer user accounts or sign-ins. We do not create user profiles, store passwords, or track an account history for visitors. You can browse the website and contact us without registering.
A booking is confirmed only after the required payment has been completed and you receive a confirmation from us. You are responsible for providing accurate guest, contact, and trip details when booking.
The website currently charges 15% of the total trip price as a reservation payment. The remaining balance is payable later as arranged with Himalayan Hike. Any inclusions, exclusions, dates, and prices shown for the selected trip form part of your booking.
Online card payments are processed securely by Stripe. Himalayan Hike does not receive or store your complete card number, security code, or Stripe password. Stripe's own terms and privacy practices apply while it processes your payment.
If you cancel at least seven days before the scheduled trip start date, your reservation payment is refundable, less any payment processing or transaction fees. Cancellations made less than seven days before the trip start date are not eligible for this refund.
If Himalayan Hike must cancel a trip, we will offer an appropriate alternative or refund the amount paid to us. Costs paid directly to airlines, insurers, visa authorities, or other third parties are subject to those providers' policies.
Trekking and travel can be affected by weather, trail conditions, transport, safety concerns, and events outside our control. We may make reasonable changes to an itinerary when necessary for safety or proper operation of the trip.
Travelers are responsible for suitable travel insurance, passports, visas, permits, vaccinations, medical advice, and fitness for the selected activity. Please tell us before departure about relevant medical conditions or accessibility needs.
We do not maintain member profiles or sign-in data. If you submit a contact form or make a booking, the details you provide are used only to answer your request, arrange and service your trip, send confirmations, process payment, and meet applicable business or legal requirements. Contact form messages are delivered to us by email, and completed bookings are kept as booking records. We do not sell this information.
The saved-trips feature may use a browser cookie so that the website can remember trips on your device. It is not a user account and does not contain a password.
We work to keep trip descriptions, availability, and prices accurate, but they may change. Website content is general information and does not replace professional medical, immigration, or travel advice.
