Welcome to Kathmandu, the capital hub of culture and tourism. Once you arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport, our representatives will receive and transfer you to the respective hotel. Later, you will get a complete brief about each day's schedule of your trip. You will also receive your permits and TIMS card this day. Do remember to bring necessary documents like passport, copies of photos, travel insurance policy, etc.

This is your prep day. Pack your bags with all the necessary stuff and gears. If you are missing something, then you can buy them with ease. You will get them in the famous hubs like Thamel and Durbarmarg. Along with this, you’ll have a full day for sightseeing around Kathmandu Valley. You will visit UNESCO enlisted World Heritage sites like Durbar Square, Pashupatinath, Swayambhunath, and Boudhanath.

The short & scenic flight to Lukla from Kathmandu is a major highlight of this trek. You enjoy the alluring views of the Himalayas within your ride. Within about 30-45 minutes, you will reach Lukla. Lukla is a small and famous Sherpa village in the Everest region. You begin your trek onward. Walking alongside Dudh Koshi for 3-hours, you’ll reach Phakding for your night stay.

Your next destination for the day will be Namche Bazaar. Namche is another famous village in the Khumbu region. The trail to Namche comprises challenges, adventure, and natural beauty. You’ll cross suspension bridges and behold prayer wheels, stupas, and shrines. You will also pass via settlements like Monjo.

You’ll spend a day in Namche Bazaar to acclimatize. This prepares you for adapting the thinner oxygen level at high altitudes. This is important to avoid Altitude Mountain Sickness (AMS). Even though this is an acclimatization day, you will walk up to Syangboche village. From its top, you can enjoy enticing views of Everest, Ama Dablam, and more. This day, you can also roam and visit cafes, bakery shops, and restaurants around Namche.
Day 6
Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3860m)

After your breakfast, you will head to the oldest Sherpa village of Khumbu; Tengboche. You will follow the trails alongside Kyangjuma and Dudh Koshi. Its best part is the ravenous views of the Everest range. You even get to witness dense rhododendron forests and spot rare species of Musk Deer and Himalayan Thar. After ascending for 6 hours, you will reach Tengboche. Tengboche is famous for its large monastery, ethnic monks, and their blissful blessings.

Leaving Tengboche, you start trekking to Dingboche for your night stay. You’ll walk via lush forests and valleys like Pangboche, Pheriche, Imja. You can spot antique mani walls and chortens on your way. After a long ascent and steep climb, you’ll reach Dingboche within 6 hours. The views of Mt. Lhotse and Ama Dablam Peak will welcome and mesmerize you.

Dingboche is a great spot for acclimatization. It is recommendable not to skip the acclimatization day here. This is crucial too as from this point, you will be residing on altitude above 5000m. This day, you will roam around the fields of barley, buckwheat, and potatoes. You can hike up to Nagarjun Hill if you wish for some adventure. The mount views from that tophill are breathtaking.

Chhukung is your next destination. You start walking along the fields and riverside of Imja Valley. The more you climb up the more alluring view of mountains appears. Continuing the ascent, the route to Bibre. Eventually, you will reach Chhukung within 4-5 hours. You will finish your lunch and start hiking towards Chhukung Ri. This ridge is famous for its fantastic views of the Himalayan range.

This is the day where you will cross one of the highest passes of the Everest region. You will begin the trek early and start the audacious climb. Kongma La Pass is the most exciting part of your journey. This tophill is famous for its picturesque scenery of the Khumbu range including Mountain Makalu. You can also mark several chortens and prayer flags that signify the local spiritual belief.

Lobuche to Everest Base Camp (5360m) & Back to Gorak Shep (5160m)

Another historical day as you get on the top of Everest Base Camp itself. On the way, you will encounter the colorful moraine of Khumbu glacier. You can also spot soaring peaks like Pumori, Mahalangur, Lingtern, Khumbutse, and Nuptse. Afterward, you will climb down the Changri glacier and head to Gorak Shep for a night stay.

Kala Patthar is an additional highlight of Everest Three High Pass Trek. This is the highest vantage point of this trek. You get the outstanding 360 degrees panoramic view of the whole Everest range. You get to spot the world’s highest mountain Everest along with Makalu, Lhotse, and Cho-Oyu. This is also the point where you will feel closest to the mountains. Enjoy this blissful experience to the fullest. Then, you will head back to Lobuche.

Lobuche to Dzongla (4830m)

Leaving Lobuche, you will proceed towards Dzongla. You will cross Khumbu glacier as you trek forward. You will retrace half of the path. Then, you will ascend a ridge crossing the Chola Khola bridge. Walking for about 4-5 hours, you will reach Dzongla. Dzongla is a small Sherpa settlement famous for the view of Cho La.

The day before you enjoyed the enticing view of Cho La Pass. And this day, you will be crossing this vantage point. This is a challenging feat due to the steep uphill climb. You begin your ascend toward Cho La Lake and start climbing. The chorten & prayer flags will welcome you at the tophill. You will love the stunning view from the pass. You encounter the longest glacier of Nepal; Ngozumpa glacier.

Acclimatization in Gokyo is necessary. You have been walking on high altitudes for many days. Thus, this will give you daybreak and soak upto the aerial environment. While you are at Gokyo, don’t miss to climb up to Gokyo Ri (5357m). Also, you must visit its six iconic lakes.

 Gokyo to Lungden (4368m) via Renjo La Pass (5360m)

Today, you head to the third and final pass of the trek; Renjo La Pass. You will start walking alongside Dudh Pokhari and start the climb. Renjo La Pass is famous for its awesome views. You spot peaks like Cho-Oyu, Gyachung Kang, Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, and Makalu. The scenery of Ngozumpa glacier looks dazzling. Afterward, you will hike down and overnight at Lungden.
Day 17
Lungden to Namche (3445m)
Lungden to Namche (3445m)
You will have a relaxed and relatively easier walk today. You will descend your way back through Thame. You can visit the popular Tibetan Gompa in Thame. The trail to Namche will take you through the lush forests. You can even spot rare species of flora & fauna like Musk Deer and Pheasants. Upon wandering for 6-7 hours, you will reach Namche.

Another day of descent begins. This day is almost a downhill trek along the Dudh Koshi river. You pass via many suspension bridges, monasteries, chortens, and mani walls. You will reach Lukla after 6-7 hours. Upon reaching, you can take rest and celebrate your accomplishment. Overnight at the teahouse of Lukla!
