Day 1
Arrival in Kathmandu
Arrival in Kathmandu
Our representatives will receive you at the airport and drop you at your respective hotel. Later in the evening, you will get a detailed briefing about your journey. Also, you will meet your fellow travelers and get all the documentation done. Make sure you bring all the necessary documents like your passport, copies of photos, travel insurance copies, etc.
Day 2
Sightseeing in Kathmandu
Sightseeing in Kathmandu
This day is allocated for a full-day Kathmandu exploration. You will visit the UNESCO-listed heritage sites like Durbar Square, Monkey Temple, and Boudhanath. Later, you can end your day witnessing the mythical aarati at Pashupatinath by the shore of the holy Bagmati river.
Day 3
Take a Flight to Gongar & Transfer to Lhasa
Take a Flight to Gongar & Transfer to Lhasa
You will take an early morning flight to Gongar and then head to Lhasa. Upon reaching there, you will check into a hotel and have lunch. Afterward, you can take a stroll around the local areas of Lhasa and try their delicious cuisines.

Exploration of Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, and Barkhor Bazaar
Exploration of Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, and Barkhor Bazaar
Potala Palace is a beautiful palace that was the winter palace of the Dalai Lama. Similarly, the Jokhang temple is one of the most ancient temples of Tibet. Likewise, Barkhor Bazaar is the heart of Tibet where there are amazing stalls & shops with antique creations. Hence, you will know a lot about Tibet and its culture & lifestyle this day.
Day 5
Exploration of Drepung, Norbulingka, and Sera Gompa
Exploration of Drepung, Norbulingka, and Sera Gompa
Drepung is one of the biggest monastic universities in Tibet. Along with a local guide, you will at first visit there and head to Norbulingka. Norbulingka is another palace, which was the former summer palace of the Dalai Lama.

Drive to Gyama via Ganden Monastery
Drive to Gyama via Ganden Monastery
You will head to Gyama valley this day. You will have to drive your way out there, so it’s gonna be another long driving day. On the way, you will also visit Ganden Monastery and take a peaceful break from the ride. Overnight at a guesthouse in Gyama!
Day 7
Trek to Thocha
Trek to Thocha
The trekking part of your journey begins today. You will walk for about 6-7 hours from Gyama to Thocha. Overnight at a guesthouse in Thocha!
Day 8
Trek from Thocha to Tsepla Pass
Trek from Thocha to Tsepla Pass
It’s yet another exciting day where you will be walking on an amazing trail. The brownish lands you walk totally welcomes you with panoramic views of stunning mountains. Your destination for the day is Tsepla Pass. It’s one of the highest mount passes in Tibet that provides breathtaking views of surrounding areas.
Day 9
Trek from Tsepla to Yarmalung
Trek from Tsepla to Yarmalung
Another walking day where you will head from Tsepla to Yarmalung. Overnight at a guesthouse in Yarmalung!
Day 10
Trek to Samye
Trek to Samye
The journey for this day will take you to Samye. Samye is the first Tibetan Buddhist ad Nyingma monastery built in Tibet. It’s really an important monastery as the first Tibetan monks were ordained there.
Day 11
Drive to Tsedang via Mindroling Monastery
Drive to Tsedang via Mindroling Monastery
Mindroling monastery is another highlight of the Gyama Valley trek. This monastery is one of the ‘Six Mother Monasteries’ of the Nyingma school in Tibet. It’s a beautiful creation and you will learn a lot about Tibet’s history & culture there.
Day 12
Explore Yarlung Valley
Explore Yarlung Valley
This is yet another exciting day of your trek where you will be exploring Yarlung valley. Yarlung is the capital of Lhokha and is one of Tibet's largest cities. There, you can explore some famous places like Mount Sotang Kangbori, Sheldrak Monastery, Tsechu Bumpa stupa, Bairo Puk, and more.
Day 13
Final Departure!
Final Departure!
Now, you have come to the end of your trip. You will take an early flight back to Kathmandu. After some rest and lunch, our representatives will drop you back at the airport for your flight back home. We will ensure you have a great stay whilst you’re here and look forward to serving you in future days as well!
