Your itinerary

Day 1
Arrival in Kathmandu
Arrival in Kathmandu
Our representatives will receive you at the airport and drop you at your respective hotel. Later in the evening, you will get a detailed briefing about your journey. Also, you will meet your fellow travelers and get all the documentation done. Make sure you bring all the necessary documents like your passport, copies of photos, travel insurance copies, etc.
Day 2
Sightseeing in Kathmandu
Sightseeing in Kathmandu
This day is allocated for a full-day Kathmandu exploration. You will visit the UNESCO-listed heritage sites like Durbar Square, Monkey Temple, and Boudhanath. Later, you can end your day witnessing the mythical aarati at Pashupatinath by the shore of the holy Bagmati river.
Day 3
Drive from Kathmandu to Kerung
Drive from Kathmandu to Kerung
You will depart from Kathmandu to Kerung early in the morning. It’s going to be a long day ride of about 7-8 hours. Upon reaching the border, there will be certain immigration formalities to be done. Then after that, you will continue to drive your way back to Kerung. Overnight at a guesthouse!
Day 4
Drive to Tingri
Drive to Tingri
Another day of driving along the way across the Tibetan plateau. On your way, you will be witnessing stunning mountain views including Lablung La Pass (5050m). After 5 hours, you will reach Tingri, an old town. Enjoy the fabulous view of Everest and Cho-Oyu from there!
Day 5
Drive to Rongbuk Village
Drive to Rongbuk Village
This is indeed a special day where you will reach Mt. Everest Base Camp. You will also visit the highest monastery in the world. On your way, you can enjoy a fabulous view of the whole valley including Mount Everest and Cho-Oyu. Overnight at a basic guesthouse in Rongbuk.
Day 6
Rongbuk to Shigatse
Rongbuk to Shigatse
After the exploration of Mt. Everest Base Camp, you will have your breakfast at your guest house. Then, you will head to Shigatse, one of the historical towns of Tibet. You will also visit Sakya monastery and Tashilungpu monastery on your way.
Day 7
Drive from Shigatse to Gyantse
Drive from Shigatse to Gyantse
You will visit some famous spots at Shigatse in the morning and then head to Gyantse. There, you will explore some other exciting places like Khumbum, Chode Monastery, and Gyantse Dzong. Overnight at a hotel in Gyantse!
Day 8
Drive Back to Lhasa
Drive Back to Lhasa
Leaving Gyantse, you will drive back to Lhasa. On the way, you will witness Yamdruk Tso, a beautiful turquoise lake. Also, you will cross passes like Kamba la, Karo La, and Yarlung river. After about 7 hours, you will reach Lhasa and check into a hotel for an overnight stay.

Lhasa has a lot of amazing places that you can visit and know a lot about. So, this day is fully for the exploration of those places like Barkhor Bazaar, Potala Palace, and Norbulingka Palace.
Day 10
Final Departure!
Final Departure!
Now, you have come to the end of your trip. You will take an early flight back to Kathmandu. After some rest and lunch, our representatives will drop you back at the airport for your flight back home. We will ensure you have a great stay whilst you’re here and look forward to serving you in future days as well!
