Your itinerary

Day 1

Arrival in Kathmandu

Our representatives will receive you at the airport and drop you at your respective hotel. Later in the evening, you will get a detailed briefing about your journey. Also, you will meet your fellow travelers and get all the documentation done. Make sure you bring all the necessary documents like your passport, copies of photos, travel insurance copies, etc.

Day 2

Sightseeing in Kathmandu

This day is allocated for a full-day Kathmandu exploration. You will visit the UNESCO-listed heritage sites like Durbar Square, Monkey Temple, and Boudhanath. Later, you can end your day witnessing the mythical aarati at Pashupatinath by the shore of the holy Bagmati river.

Day 3

Take a Flight to Lhasa

You will take an early morning flight to Lhasa. Upon reaching there, you will check into a hotel and have lunch. Afterward, you can take a stroll around the local areas and try their delicious cuisines. Lhasa, a cultural city of Tibet, will have a lot to offer you. You will have a great day here.

Day 4

Sightseeing in Lhasa

There are a lot of amazing places to visit in Lhasa. Thus, this day is allocated for a full day exploration in Lhasa. Following that, you will head to Potala Palace, Norbulingka Palace, and Drepung Monastery. Overnight at a hotel in Lhasa!

Day 5

Drive from Lhasa to Shigatse

Continuing the journey, you will drive your way to Shigatse. It lies in the capital of the province of Tsang and is the residence of the Panchen Lama. Panchen Lama is the second ecclesiastic of Tibet. Overnight in a hotel at Shigatse!

Day 6

Drive from Shigatse to Saga

Another day of a scenic drive begins. On your way, the journey takes you to the passes that are above 5000 meters. You will have a great day driving over the sandy and rocky land of Tibet. Overnight at Saga!

Day 7

Drive to Mansarovar via Paryang

Another exciting day begins where you will head to Mansarovar. It’s going to be 8 hours long drive and cover about 277 kilometers. On the way, the scenic sight of Holy Kailash Parbat and Mansarovar will welcome you. Overnight at a guesthouse at Mansarovar!

Day 8

Exploration of Lake Mansarovar and Drive to Tarchen

Lake Mansarovar is a sacred freshwater lake located at 4590 meters. This lake besides the religious history, also signifies compassion, bliss, and tranquility. No wonder, you will have a great time here. After its exploration, you will head towards Tarchen, also known as the base camp of the Holy Kailash Parikrama.

Day 9

Drive to Valley of God and Trek to Derapuk

You will begin your ride along the beautiful rocky cliffs witnessing waterfalls and amazing scenery. You will drive for 6 hours till you reach the Kailash Parbat. Then, you will trek to Derapuk and stay there overnight.

Day 10

Trek to Juthulpuk via Dolma La Pass

Another exciting day where you will pass the highest point of the trek: Dolma La Pass (5670m). This is also the hardest part of your trek, still, it will be the best experience of all. On your way, you will also pass via Yamasthal, Shivasthal, and other holiest places. Overnight at Zuthal Puk, also known as the cave of miracles.

Day 11

Drive Back to Saga

You will complete the final stroll to finish Kailash Parikrama. Thereafter, you will walk further for 3 hours and take a ride back to Saga. Overnight at a lodge in Saga!

Day 12

Drive Back to Shigatse

Retracing your way back, you will drive back to Shigatse. There are a lot of exciting things to explore at Shigatse. You can visit the places you may have missed before. Overnight at a hotel in Shigatse!

Day 13

Drive to Lhasa

Continuing the ride, you will head back to Lhasa city and check into a hotel. You will take a rest and later on in the evening, you can celebrate the accomplishment of your tour. Also, you will be preparing to leave for Kathmandu the next day.

Day 14

Flight Back to Kathmandu

You will take a short drive to Gonggar Airport early in the morning from Lhasa. This would take about two hours. From there, you will take a flight to Kathmandu and transfer to your hotel.

Day 15

Final Departure!

Now, you have come to the end of your trip. Our representatives will drop you back at the airport for your flight back home. We will ensure you have a great stay whilst you’re here and look forward to serving you in future days as well!
