Your itinerary

Day 1
Arrival in Kathmandu

Our representatives will receive you at the airport and drop you at your respective hotel. Later in the evening, you will get a detailed briefing about your journey. Also, you will meet your fellow travelers and get all the documentation done. Make sure you bring all the necessary documents like your passport, copies of photos, travel insurance copies, etc.
Day 2
Sightseeing in Kathmandu
Sightseeing in Kathmandu
This day is allocated for a full-day Kathmandu exploration. You will visit the UNESCO-listed heritage sites like Durbar Square, Monkey Temple, and Boudhanath. Later, you can end your day witnessing the mythical aarati at Pashupatinath by the shore of the holy Bagmati river.
Day 3
Drive from Kathmandu to Kyirung
Drive from Kathmandu to Kyirung
Witnessing the fabulous scene on the way, you will drive from Kathmandu to Kyirung. It’s going to be a long day until you reach the border. There, you will meet your Tibetan guide and do all the formalities to cross the border. Later, you will get a full briefing once you reach your hotel.
Day 4
Drive from Kyirung to Saga
Drive from Kyirung to Saga
Again, this will be a long day where you’ll drive on the desert terrain. On the way, you can witness grasslands of sheep and yak herds. There are also nomad camps from where you can view Gaurishankar, Shishapangma, and Langtang Himal. You will also pass via Peiku Tso lake and Brahmaputra river too.
Day 5
Saga to Paryang to Mansarovar
Saga to Paryang to Mansarovar
You will head to Paryang witnessing the mountains and surrounding scenery. You will take a drive through the small town of Zhongba on the way. And it offers the first view of Mount Kailash. Also, before getting to Mansarovar, you will visit the serene & historic Chiu monastery too.
Day 6
Drive to Darchen
Drive to Darchen
You will explore the sacred lake Mansarovar and enjoy the view of Gurla massif. The serenity along the way is amazing and you can enjoy the view of Mt Kailashkora throughout. Overnight at a guesthouse in Darchen!
Day 7
Trek to Dira Puk- Zuthul Puk
Trek to Dira Puk- Zuthul Puk
Here comes another exciting day where you will be walking along the rocky trails. The paths are naturally beautiful and offer views of waterfalls & surrounding peaks. Also, you will be crossing the highest point of the trek Dolma La pass at 5670m. Overnight at a local guesthouse/tented camp at Zuthu Puk!
Day 8
End of Kailash Parikrama and Drive to Saga
End of Kailash Parikrama and Drive to Saga
So, you will end your trek this day by having a final around Kailash. After the completion of the Kora, you will drive back to Saga. There, you will stay at a guest house for the nightstay.
Day 9
Drive Back to Kyirung
Drive Back to Kyirung
Now, retracing your steps, you will drive back to Kyirung. The ride will take about 6-7 hours. And upon reaching there, you will check into a hotel. Later on, you can take a stroll to buy souvenirs around the famous market places at Kyirung.
Day 10
Kyirung to Kathmandu
Kyirung to Kathmandu
Continuing the drive, you will at first reach the Nepal Tibet border. There, you will have to complete the official formalities and say goodbye to Tibet as a whole. You will then ride to Kathmandu from there. You can enjoy your free time in Kathmandu going for dinner or shopping.

 Final Departure!

Now, you have come to the end of your trip. After some rest and lunch, our representatives will drop you back at the airport for your flight back home. We will ensure you have a great stay whilst you’re here and look forward to serving you in future days as well!
