Day 1

Welcome to the land of amazing culture & tradition! Upon your arrival, our representative will welcome you at the airport. Then, they will drop you at the hotel, where you will be taking a rest and meet fellow travelers of your group. You will also receive your permits so make sure to bring all the necessary documents like copies of your passport, insurance, and photos.
Day 2
Kathmandu Sightseeing and Exploration
Kathmandu Sightseeing and Exploration
As you're here in Kathmandu, the land of ethnic cultures & tradition, you got to explore them all. Hence, you will be visiting spots like Durbar Square, Swayambhunath, Boudhanath, Pashupatinath, etc. All of them are listed in UNESCO’s World Heritage sites. After their exploration, you will get to know about their history and cultural significance.

Take a Flight to Paro
Take a Flight to Paro
This day, you will head to Bhutan. Keep your cameras ready as you’re about to witness spectacular mountain views from your flight. Upon reaching Paro, you will take a little rest and then start exploring the amazing places around.

You will reach Paro valley on the day when the festival officially begins. Hence, you won’t be missing out on any activity there. You will witness various forms of masked dances, unfurling of the silk Thangka, displaying Thongdrel, and many more. Some of the famous forms of dance are Shinje Yab Yum aka the dance of the death & his consort.

Excursion to Tiger Monastery
Excursion to Tiger Monastery
Even within this festival tour, you get to have a short hike to Tiger Monastery, also known as Taktsang Palphug Monastery or Paro Taktsang. It’s a sacred Vajrayana Himalayan Buddhist site at the cliffside of Paro valley. You will have to walk between 4-5 hours to do the round trip hike there.

 Drive from Paro to Thimphu
Drive from Paro to Thimphu
There are a lot of awesome places to visit in Paro and Tiger monastery is one of them. So, afterward, you can visit the National Museum, Paro River, Rinpung Dzong. Later on, you will head to Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan, for further exploration.

The capital city of Bhutan is one of the peaceful cities in the world. This city truly syncs the magical nature with the local Buddhist culture. Thus, there are a lot of amazing places to explore there. Some of them are Budhha Dordenma, Semtokha Dzong, Royal Botanical garden, Ludrong Memorial Garden, and many others Drive to Paro Now, after the whole schedule of exploring the Tsechu Paro festival, you’ll return to Paro. Whilst you’re there, you can also take a stroll to Kyushu Lhakhang, one of the oldest shrines in Bhutan.
